WIP Buckle Plate

Well I managed to cast it in the end. It didn't turn out too badly, but I dont think I will attempt to cast anything else in metal until I get some proper equipment. This piece will still be used probably, once its had a coat of gold paint.

Here's the second attempt to make a buckle plate. The first got destroyed in a failed attempt at making a mould. I'll be pouring metal in when this is dry.

Belt implements

The two pieces at the top are belt ends.
The bottom piece is a buckle plate.

My plans for these are to make a mould and hopefully cast them in a cheap metal. This is an experiment currently but if it goes to plan then I'll probably use the same methodd to make some more complicated items like cloak pins and broaches.
